Bug ID: #1584

Bookings exported as iCals which are then imported into a 3rd party app may have times incorrectly offset by a number of hours

MIDAS Versions Affected:4.02 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Unknown/Not Applicable
Details:We have received a couple of isolated reports of instances when bookings have been exported in iCal format, yet when these are then imported into a 3rd party applications, booking start and end times appear offset offset by a number of hours.

Upon investigation, we believe this issue is caused by MIDAS referencing dates/times back to UTC when generating iCal files.
Workaround:If your 3rd party software has an "Import" function, export bookings from MIDAS in an alternate format (i.e. .CSV or .TXT) and then use the import function on your 3rd party software to import bookings this way.
Resolution:Fixed for v4.06
