Category:Functionality (Server Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.07
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome Apple Safari Opera
Details:Database names containing certain characters (for example "/") could break the Manage MIDAS screen causing tabs to not be clickable
Workaround:To resolve this issue, you will need to manually edit (in a standard text editor) the "midasglobal.dat" file in your MIDAS installation.

Look for the <database> section in this file. Each entry within this section will have a "display" attribute containing the name you've assigned to your database.

Modify these names to remove any "/" characters, and save changes to your "midasglobal.dat" file back to your server.

Your Manage MIDAS screen should then display correctly
Resolution:Fixed for v4.07 if installed/updated after 2nd September 2014
