Category:Functionality (Server Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.06
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome Apple Safari Opera
Details:If multiple users are generating invoices for multiple existing bookings simultaneously, this could cause the Invoice counter (which keeps track of the next available incremental invoice number) to become out of sync
Symptoms:Duplicate invoice numbers
Workaround:Limit the number of users who have access to the Invoicing component of MIDAS, or ensure that no other users are generating invoices at the same time as yourself.
Resolution:Fixed for v4.06 if installed/updated after 1 July 2014.
Additionally, you can prevent the symptoms of this issue in earlier versions by executing the following MySQL command on your MIDAS database:
ALTER TABLE `invoices` ADD UNIQUE(`ref`);

We have now been able to replicate this issue, and it will be fixed for the forthcoming MIDAS v4.06.
Symptoms:"Unable to move booking - Attendees will exceed maximum capacity of ()" message when dynamically moving/duplicating a booking in Safari

Category:Functionality (Client Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Apple Safari
Details:When accessing MIDAS in Safari, if you have a large number of venues displayed in your Booking Grid, and you dynamically "drag" to duplicate/move a booking into a venue near the bottom of the grid, the booking may be placed in a venue lower down than expected.
Workaround:1) Use a different browser
2) Use "Venue Groups" to filter your booking grid so that fewer venues are shown at any one time
3) Duplicate/Move bookings by modifying them instead of dynamically "dragging" them in the booking grid

Bug ID: #1587

Dragging to duplicate/move bookings may indicate booking is in a different place on the grid

Status:Closed

LowImpactHigh
Category:Functionality (Client Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.04 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome Apple Safari Opera
Details:Dragging to duplicate/move a booking when user's hours are restricted may temporarily indicate the moved/duplicate booking in the wrong place on the grid. Refreshing the booking grid resolves this.

Users who's hours are not restricted are unaffected.
Workaround:Set each user's settings to "Day starts at 00.00 and runs for 24 hours", or move/duplicate bookings via the "Modify Booking" function instead of dynamically dragging.
Resolution:Fixed for v4.05 (If installed/updated after 28th April 2014)

Impact Matrix:

LowImpactHigh
Category:Functionality (Client Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
Details:When rescheduling or duplicating a booking directly from the Booking Grid (via drag and drop), the booking may not be rescheduled to the expected time slot in some instances.
Symptoms:When "dropping" a booking, the booking appears further to the left/right of the grid than expected.
When "dropping" a booking to a free area on the grid, the booking isn't moved/duplicated with "Reason: Unavailable"
Workaround:1. Use an alternative web browser
2. Reschedule bookings by clicking the booking and select "Modify Booking" instead of dragging & dropping the booking to a new location
3. Or, when initially "dragging" a booking in the Booking Grid when using Chrome, click (grab) the booking and then move your mouse cursor up/down first a little way, and before moving left/right and "dropping" to your desired time slot
Resolution:Fixed for v4.06
