User's Last Login time not correct in certain timezones

Category:Functionality (Server Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.06
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome Apple Safari Opera
Details:Selecting a user on the Manage Users & Permissions screen displays an incorrect time as the user's Last Login time.

The time shown as the Last Login time is the UTC equivalent of the actual login time, therefore, if MIDAS is set to run in a different timezone, the Last Login time will still be shown in UTC.
Resolution:Fixed for v4.06 if downloaded/updated after 19th May 2014

MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome Apple Safari Opera
Details:In certain timezones (those ahead of UTC/GMT), logging in early in the day may initially display the previous day rather than the current day in the Booking Grid.

For example, if you are in GMT+10, logging in before 10am may initially show yesterday's booking grid. Logging in after 10am will correctly show today's booking grid initially.

Unable to type into the email/password fields on the login screen

Status:Closed

Category:Functionality (Client Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.05
Browsers Affected:Apple Safari (Standalone / Web Clip Mode)
Details:When adding MIDAS as a Home Screen icon to your iPad, opening MIDAS via this icon may not allow you to easily enter your email/password details on the login screen
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Add a Home Screen icon for MIDAS to your iPad
  2. Start MIDAS via the Home Screen icon
Workaround:A number of workarounds exist:

Method 1:
1) Once MIDAS loads, close the onscreen keyboard
2) Double-Tap the email field (the on screen keyboard reappears)
3) You should then be able to type into the email field

Method 2:
An alternative workaround is to tap the password field, enter some characters, then tap the email field, after which you should be able to enter into this field.

Method 3:
A further alternative workaround is to login to MIDAS via the regular Safari browser on your iPad, and select the "Remember Me" option on the login screen. Then, when you next load MIDAS via the Home Screen icon you've added, your login details should be filled in already (so you won't need to type them in). Additionally, if you also select the "Auto-Login" box on this screen, MIDAS should log you in each time you access it via the Home Screen icon you've added.
