Dragging & dropping of bookings to new times in the booking grid isn't accurate

Status:Closed

Impact Matrix:

LowImpactHigh
Category:Functionality (Client Side)
MIDAS Versions Affected:4.00 - 4.05
Browsers Affected:Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
Details:When rescheduling or duplicating a booking directly from the Booking Grid (via drag and drop), the booking may not be rescheduled to the expected time slot in some instances.
Symptoms:When "dropping" a booking, the booking appears further to the left/right of the grid than expected.
When "dropping" a booking to a free area on the grid, the booking isn't moved/duplicated with "Reason: Unavailable"
Workaround:1. Use an alternative web browser
2. Reschedule bookings by clicking the booking and select "Modify Booking" instead of dragging & dropping the booking to a new location
3. Or, when initially "dragging" a booking in the Booking Grid when using Chrome, click (grab) the booking and then move your mouse cursor up/down first a little way, and before moving left/right and "dropping" to your desired time slot
